Cody's Amazing Story

Dear Robert,

I have attached some pictures of Cody both on his petempad and on our morning walk. Cody was diagnosed with severe bilateral elbow dysplasia last year by the veterinarians here in Eaton, and at Colorado State University. The best they could offer where pain killers and possible elbow replacement surgery. Cody is only 4 years old, we felt that type of surgery was too drastic for a dog his age especially when they couldn't fully predict the success. We opted to try a more holistic approach We started him on a daily routine of high dosages of glucosamine. The supplements helped quite a bit, yet we would still have to resort to pain killers every so often, and Cody lost much of the endurance he used to have for his daily walks and other activities. I heard an interview with you on a dog podcast and thought it wouldn't hurt anything to at least try the petempad. I purchased the pad a couple of months ago, we lay it where Cody likes to sit, right on the couch. After the first 3 - 4 weeks I noticed there was more spring in his movement, and more bounce to his gait. I also realized that he no longer required any of the pain killers. By the end of two months the change has become dramatic. On one of our morning walks through the farm fields a fox sprang up and Cody chased him for nearly a half mile, and continued to run the entire way back to me. He has not run for that long of time and distance for over a year. After his excursion he was not limping and did not need any pain killers, in fact two days later he repeated the same sprint, chasing after a rabbit. The entire time we have used the pad we have not had to give him one pain killer, he has not limped and his energy and activities has increased 2-fold. That is when I knew I had to contact you and thank you for making this product available. Even his veterinarian was amazed at his condition, she told us "whatever you are doing, keep doing it". People with dogs in similar situations need to know that this product is available. Thank you once again for you and your product. Keep up the great work.
